Overview
The Inside Sales Consultant or sales person role, sells solar energy products or services to consumers. Their priority is to make a genuine human connection with the potential customers with the intent to qualify and vet solar as a viable energy solution for their home and families. Their main duties include handling inbound pre-qualified transfer leads through a dialer where they will explore pricing, sale terms and provide custom solar proposals. They will drive their solar project from point of sale to installation, using Sunrun's core values to drive meaningful impact with our customers. Responsibilities/The Impact
• Use skills in communication and sales to highlight the advantages in our products and services
• Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
• Follow-up with receptive transfer leads to further sales
• Understand and be able to demonstrate the product or service to the customer through screen shares
• Guide customers, electronically, through the enrollment process
• Prioritize tasks and responsibilities to deliver an outstanding customer experience and achieve monthly sales targets
• Run and track customer account progress in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
Qualifications/How You Will Be Successful
• The ability to communicate fluently in English is an essential function of this role. Fluency in another language besides English is a plus. * Basic digital literacy, bonus points for experience using Salesforce.com or a similar CRM
• Previous sales experience is encouraged
• Demonstrated passion for relationship building, customer service and continuous self-improvement
• Excel in a remote team setting, working effectively in an ever-evolving environment
