Job Description
GHG Corporation is seeking an Administrative Assistant Specialist (IT) to provide administrative support to the CIO and senior staff, manage reports, track deliverables, assist with budget management, and handle confidential matters. The role requires strong PC skills, particularly in MS Office, and excellent interpersonal abilities. Candidates must be US citizens or permanent residents. This is an on-site position in Centennial, CO, with a start date at the end of July 2024.
JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant Specialist (IT)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provides general administrative support to the CIO and assigned senior staff members
· Gathers and compiles data to develop monthly, quarterly, and other required reports
· Tracks department deliverables
· Assists in budget management as directed
· Takes initiative to problem solve, gather needed information from managers, set up schedules and meetings, and manage various action items.
· Monitors the hiring status of deploying and full time personnel
· Coordinates training and the dissemination of safety information
· Interacts with National Science Foundation, military and other agency officials, both over the telephone and in person, in a professional and tactful manner
· Handles confidential matters (personnel actions, payroll, management reports, etc.) in accordance with management policy
· Provides guidance and information to employees as required
· Creates and plans various morale/team building programs, events, and activities.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Higher education degree is preferred. Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:
None Required.
TRAINING:
None Required.
EXPERIENCE:
· PC skills with strong working knowledge of MS Office suite products required.
· Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, problem solving, and written communications skills are necessary.
· Previous USAP experience is preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL ANDIOR OTHER SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
Complies with applicable safety, environment, health, and waste management policies and procedure. US citizenship or permanent residence is require
