Job Description

Arrival is seeking an Indirect MRO Buyer in Monterrey, Mexico, to support procurement for third-party activities. Responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, analyzing industry trends, managing vendor relationships, and improving indirect procurement processes. Candidates should have experience as a buyer, strong commercial awareness, and excellent communication skills. This is a full-time position with no specific degree requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Partnering with your stakeholders to provide procurement support to 3rd party activities across the group
• Delivery of the commercial ambitions of Arrival, balancing the total value of the sourcing activities we undertake
• Devise long and short-term strategies for operational categories
• Analyze data and provide insights on industry trends - supporting stakeholders in their decision-making processes
• Foster trusted relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services
• Support stakeholders in the management of lead times and supplier inventories, including forecasting of demand
• Work to improve Indirect Procurement as we grow with Arrival
• Support operational colleagues in the accurate budgeting and management of spend, globallyRequirements
• Proven experience as junior buyer / senior buyer or similar role
• A keen commercial sense, with an understanding of what drives value for a business
• Awareness of procurement principles, including understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods; management of sourcing activities, including RFx processes and potentially broader category management
• Knowing how to manage your supply base to ensure delivery of optimal value
• Excellent communication and people skills, with a desire to build strong and sustainable relationships with your stakeholders
• The desire to make a difference in a growing company looking to make a radical impact
