In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations in our India facilities. Develop and implement environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures for our India facilities.
Monitor and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to EHS.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks and make recommendations for corrective actions.
Train and educate employees on EHS protocols and best practices.
Investigate and report any incidents, accidents, or near misses, and implement measures to prevent future occurrences.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate any potential EHS risks in all aspects of the business.
Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in EHS practices and regulations.
Collaborate with government agencies and external stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and ensure compliance.
Lead and mentor a team of EHS associates to promote a strong safety culture.
Develop and maintain emergency response plans for our India facilities.
Conduct regular reviews and updates of EHS programs to ensure continuous improvement.
Communicate EHS performance and recommendations to upper management.
Collaborate with other EHS professionals within the company to share best practices and lessons learned.
Manage EHS-related budgets and resources effectively.
Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies for EHS matters.
