Job Description
Makersite is hiring an IT Systems Administrator to manage onboarding, IT support, asset management, and procurement while ensuring security compliance. The role requires 2-3 years of relevant experience and proficiency in cloud technologies. Who we're looking for:
We are seeking a proactive IT Systems Administrator to take ownership of our onboarding and offboarding processes and enhance our IT support services. The ideal candidate will manage IT asset provisioning, support internal IT-related issues, and oversee the procurement of IT equipment while ensuring compliance with security standards.
This role is a fixed, permanent position. All successful applicants will need to reside in Berlin with legal working permits or residence permits.
The role:
• Onboarding/Offboarding: Take full ownership of the onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees.
• Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support, including provisioning of IT resources, managing login access, and addressing other IT-related issues for internal teams.
• IT Asset Management: Manage IT assets and inventory, ensuring accurate records and optimal usage of technology resources.
• Procurement: Oversee the procurement of IT equipment, coordinate delivery, and maintain thorough documentation of all assets.
• Collaboration: Work closely with technically skilled staff to provide effective IT support for complex requirements, prioritizing their needs and reducing unnecessary restrictions.
• Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with IT security standards, frameworks, and policies, particularly ISO 27001-2 and/or ITIL.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in IT operations or support roles.
• Good understanding of IT security standards, frameworks, and policies (ISO 27001-2 and/or ITIL).
• Proficient in Cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure and Office 365 (certifications are a plus).
• Experience with Entra (identity access management), GitHub, and Jira is highly valued.
• Awareness of the latest technology trends and applications within the industry.
• Experience working in fast-growing startups; familiarity with enterprise or scale-up environments is a must.
• Must be based in Germany and have experience working within the German market.
• Excellent prioritization skills and the ability to identify and tackle the most critical issues first.
• Residing in and legally permitted to work in Germany.
