IT Specialist Software Development

Caldic is seeking an IT Specialist Software Development to deliver and support applications, focusing on D365 Power Platform. The role requires strong knowledge of software development, particularly in D365, and involves collaboration with global IT teams. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience, excellent communication skills, and a degree in IT or related fields. The Software Engineer (SE) is responsible for the effective delivery and support of applications in a diverse set of platforms and programming languages (being D365 Power Platform the main focus area): he/she will ensure business needs, software quality, methodology, and continuous improvement requirements are properly considered.

The SE is part of the European IT organization but has global scope and responsibilities if necessary, building strong relationships with D365 Functional Consultants and IT Service Providers across regions.

The SE will possess a strong knowledge of the D365 Power Platform, methodology, development tools (Azure DevOps), and quality practices, with the ability to develop and support applications in other Platforms (“Bartender” – Label Printing Platform, “Advanced-Forms” – Document Management, among others). Furthermore, the SE will have good knowledge of different Business Processes and Data areas (Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Data Migration, and Integrations).

About you
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Software Development, mainly in D365 Power Platform
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to work in a multinational environment, interacting with internal and external stakeholders (IT Providers)
• Degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field.

Desirable:
• Preferably proven experience in supporting cloud-based ERP & CRM systems using Microsoft or equivalent technology.
• Experience of relevant industry standards, best practices, and trends in Software Development.
