Job Description

St Helens College is hiring an ICT Technician to provide first and second line ICT helpdesk support, addressing hardware/software issues for Local and Wide Area Networks. Candidates should have an NVQ Level 2 IT qualification, GCSEs in English and Math, and relevant IT customer service experience. The role offers a full-time schedule, competitive salary, and various employee benefits. This position is based in Denton's Green, United Kingdom.
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated individual to the post of ICT Technician. The successful candidate must have a keen interest in providing first and second line ICT helpdesk support, assisting with hardware/software problems and technical support functions for Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks.

The successful candidate must have:

NVQ Level 2 IT qualification (or equivalent) or working towards.

GCSE grades A-C in in English and Math.

A proactive approach to providing a high degree of customer service for all support queries in a positive manner whilst adhering to all service management principles/Service Level Agreements.

Recent experience of working within an IT and customer service environment
