Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Department of Pathology & Lab Medicine - Pathology Research Portal (PRP) team is seeking a Hospital Laboratory Technician 1 to support research specimen processing and laboratory operations. Primary duties include:

• Batch and process primary research specimens.

• Troubleshoot issues related to specimen orders and tests.

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.

• Assist with special study activations and research projects.

Salary Range: $26.39/hour - $34.86/hour

Job Qualifications

• Understanding of analytical techniques, including weighing, solution preparation, and calculations.

• Familiarity with medical terminology, including anatomy, medical conditions, symptoms, test methods, and treatments.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
