Job Summary:

As an Agrochemical Research Scientist, you will lead and conduct research focused on developing innovative solutions in crop protection and enhancement. This role involves designing and executing experiments to create, test, and refine agrochemical formulations that improve crop yield, combat pests and diseases, and meet regulatory standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product efficacy, safety, and sustainability, and contribute to the companys strategic goals in sustainable agriculture.

Key Responsibilities:
Research and Development: Design, develop, and optimize agrochemical products (pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides) to improve crop protection, yield, and sustainability.
Laboratory Experiments: Conduct and manage experiments, including laboratory, greenhouse, and field studies, to evaluate product performance, efficacy, and safety.
Data Analysis: Collect, interpret, and analyze data from trials to guide formulation development and improve product effectiveness.
Formulation Development: Innovate and refine agrochemical formulations to enhance performance, stability, and compatibility with crops and application methods.
Regulatory Compliance: Work with regulatory teams to ensure that new formulations comply with local, national, and international regulatory standards.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including agronomists, biochemists, and field specialists, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Documentation: Prepare detailed research reports, presentations, and publications, documenting methodologies, findings, and insights for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Education: Masters or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Agronomy, Crop Science, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in agrochemical research, formulation chemistry, or agricultural science.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in laboratory techniques, analytical tools, data analysis, and familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., EPA, EU regulations).
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with an ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:
Additional Experience: Hands-on experience in field trials and crop protection methodologies.
Knowledge Base: Familiarity with trends in sustainable agriculture, integrated pest management (IPM), and green chemistry.
