William Charles Construction is seeking a High Voltage Construction Project Manager to manage clean energy projects, primarily from a site office in Rockford, IL. The role requires significant travel (up to 75%) across various states and involves overseeing safety, production, and quality compliance. Overview:

William Charles Construction, a MasTec Company, is excited to announce an opening for a High Voltage Construction Project Manager to join our dedicated Power Delivery team. This role involves managing clean energy projects from our site field office located in Rockford, IL, with a strong focus on field coordination, production, safety, and quality compliance.

This position requires significant travel, up to 75% (approximately three weeks or 15 days each month), which may include driving, commercial flights, rental cars, and public transportation. You must have a valid driver's license and be capable of lodging in public accommodations during your travels. You could be based anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to projects in various states, including Missouri, Indiana, and Illinois. We offer a designated per diem in addition to your base salary to assist with travel expenses. A company vehicle and fuel card will also be provided.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement safety plans for all field operations, including those near busy roadways and hazardous environmental conditions.
• Manage personnel by setting production, safety, and quality goals.
• Identify and allocate necessary resources, including personnel and equipment for job sites.
• Oversee and update project work schedules.
• Contribute to monthly cost estimations for project completion and provide advisement to the Project Manager.
• Track and report weekly quantities completed accurately.
• Coordinate all equipment acquisitions with the Procurement Department.
• Review project progress and performance on a weekly basis with the Project Manager.
• This role requires 100% project-specific travel.

Qualifications:
• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience and training.
• OSHA 30 Hour certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a field superintendent or manager in solar and/or wind markets.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment visa sponsorship.

Competencies Required:
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage a mobile workforce effectively.
• Proficiency in CPM Scheduling.
