Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge, with experience in various types of machinery used on construction sites. This role is critical to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities
• Operate heavy equipment including cranes, front loader trucks, bulldozers, backhoes, dump trucks, water trucks, and tankers.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is safe and functioning properly.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to keep it in optimal working condition.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment on construction sites.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed.

Pay

$27-$32/hour depending on experience

Experience
• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with cranes, bulldozers, front loader trucks, backhoes, dump trucks, water trucks, and tankers.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
