Health Safety Environment Engineer

Al Ghurair Investment LLC is seeking a Health Safety Environment Engineer in Dubai. The role involves implementing fire prevention measures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and developing emergency plans. Candidates should have an engineering degree, 8-10 years of HSE experience, preferably in hospitality or commercial properties, and hold relevant certifications. A UAE driving license is also required.
Establish measures to prevent fire or to minimize the effects of fire on life, property and operations.Ensure Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defence rules and regulations regarding Environment, Health and Safety are practised by all at the mall (AGC).Establish emergency plans to deal with possible catastrophes involving Al Ghurair Properties' operations, such as fires, explosions, spills and releases of hazardous materials and loss of utilities.Establish work rules and communicates information to employees to insure safe work habits, awareness of hazards and the use of appropriate protection.Evaluate materials and equipment to control any work place hazard.Maintain an inventory of chemicals used in the mall and premises and obtaining technical data regarding their use, handling and disposal.Organize regular training for the staff in H&S procedures.Develop and maintain appropriate HSE program records. Engineering degree / diploma with additional qualifications or certifications in HSE (OSH / NEBOSH / IGC) required.8-10 years in HSE department in a reputed organization including significant UAE experiencePrior experience in hotel / mall / residential & commercial properties preferred.Additional technical qualifications in electrical and A/C is an advantage.UAE driving license required.
