Health, Safety & Environment Manager

Richemont is seeking a Health, Safety & Environment Manager in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The role involves implementing HSE strategies across the Benelux and Nordics, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Key responsibilities include developing HSE programs, analyzing data, promoting safety culture, conducting training, and managing relationships with regulatory bodies. Candidates should have a relevant degree, HSE management experience, and fluency in Dutch and English.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

Reporting to the Head of Security and HSE Benelux and Nordics, the Health, Safety & Environment Manager will drive the implementation of Richemont Europe's HSE strategy and management system across the Benelux and Nordics markets (currently with locations in Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Denmark, and Sweden). This role is key in ensuring the business operates in full compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities:
• Develop and execute regional HSE strategy, aligning with Richemont's global objectives.
• Partner with regional teams to implement HSE programs.
• Track and analyze HSE data to identify trends and implement solutions.
• Promote safety culture through leadership and best practices.
• Maintain expert knowledge of HSE legislation and ensure compliance.
• Maintain, improve, and implement the HSE management system.
• Implement and monitor HSE procedures and standards.
• Implement occupational health programs.
• Ensure effective risk assessments and hazard mitigation.
• Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations across the Benelux and Nordic scope.
• Deliver comprehensive HSE training programs.
• Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
• Maintain emergency response plans and manage drills.
• Conduct internal audits and inspections for HSE compliance.
• Ensure accurate use of Group HSE tools for reporting.
• Manage the HSE budget.

• Bachelor's degree in HSE, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• Previous HSE management experience, preferably in manufacturing or retail.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE legislation (BE, LU, NL, DK, SE).
• Experience implementing HSE/environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• HSE professional certifications desirable; environmental certifications a plus.
