About the Role:

We are seeking a data-driven leader to head our newly established Supply Chain Development team. You will drive strategic projects across our business units—including Netto, føtex, and Bilka—to enhance Supply Chain performance, impacting millions of customers who visit our stores weekly.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze data to generate insights that support product availability and efficiency across stores and distribution centers.
• Collaborate with your team to design, develop, and implement tools and data models that leverage data for business impact.
• Support the general data-driven transformation across Salling Group.
• Drive significant improvements to core forecasting and allocation IT infrastructure in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Introduce new technologies and trends to our Supply Chain Teams in partnership with IT and AI/Machine Learning teams.
• Build and develop the Supply Chain Development Team, establishing workflows and annual priorities.
• Manage the annual prioritization process, setting ambitious targets and overseeing initiatives for the continuous development of our Supply Chain function.

Your Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in economics, IT, engineering, or a related natural science field (e.g., cand.scient, cand.oecon, cand.merc).
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members; experience managing data specialists is preferred.
• Strong interest in data utilization for business impact, combined with solid business acumen.
• Hypothesis-driven problem-solving experience with a robust data foundation.
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as R, Python, VBA, DAX, and SQL.
• Ability to translate data insights into tangible actions across the organization and lead the required change management across the organization.
• Excellent communication skills and personal presence to effectively engage stakeholders.
• Fluency in Danish is required, as the primary stakeholder landscape includes Danish speakers.

You will report directly to the Vice President of Supply Chain and Logistics, based at the Netto HQ in Køge, with occasional travel to the Salling Group HQ in Aarhus.
