About the Position
This esteemed leadership role demands a highly skilled individual with extensive experience in energy markets, regulatory frameworks, blockchain technology, and sustainability. As the public spokesperson and principal advocate for the Bitcoin mining industry, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive policy initiatives, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving membership growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute strategic policy initiatives that promote energy security, sustainability, and innovation in the context of Bitcoin mining and high-performance computing.
• Cultivate relationships with policymakers, regulators, energy leaders, and other key stakeholders to advance DPN's influence in energy and technology policy discussions.
• Shape narratives to address misinformation and highlight the strategic benefits of Bitcoin mining in the U.S. energy landscape.
• Mentor and manage staff to ensure the successful execution of DPN's mission.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in public policy, Political Science, Energy Studies, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in energy policy, government affairs, or a related field, with demonstrated success in policy advocacy.
• Proven track record in scaling advocacy initiatives or trade organizations.
• Strong network of relationships within the energy sector, regulatory agencies, and policymaking community.
