About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of North America to spearhead the development and implementation of sustainability strategies for U.S.-based clients. This role is pivotal in supporting the founders to establish and grow the U.S. operation, with a focus on creating more responsible and sustainable businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing and leading a variety of projects, including strategy, engagement, communications, and operations. This will involve client delivery, business development, people and organizational management, and internal knowledge management. The Head of North America will also be instrumental in building and leading a local team, as well as shaping the company's presence in the region.

The ideal candidate will be a deeply experienced and entrepreneurial Sustainability Consultant with a minimum of 6 years' experience in the field. They must possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, and have a proven track record in talent acquisition and team development. The role requires an individual with the ability to work independently, think creatively, and plan effectively to deliver multiple projects at a high standard. A client-first mindset, a desire to play a key role in a fast-growing company, and a commitment to the values of sustainability and responsible business practices are essential. The Head of North America will also be expected to have a sophisticated understanding of change management in complex organizations and deep specialist knowledge of environmental or social issues.
