HVAC Technician (3YRS EXP REQ)

Kingdom Climate Solutions LLC is hiring an HVAC Technician with 3 years of experience for their Pearson, GA location. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems in commercial and residential settings, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with installations. Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled HVAC Technician to join our team who can confidently handle service calls and assist with installations when needed. This position is responsible for both commercial and residential heating and cooling customers. This role is ideal for a well-rounded technician who enjoys troubleshooting, providing excellent customer service, and occasionally assisting with installations. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and professionalism when working in a commercial setting or in customers’ homes. Hourly rate of pay depends on your knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in commercial and residential settings
• Perform preventive maintenance on rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, heat pumps, furnaces, and package units
• Respond to service calls and communicate findings clearly with customers and office staff
• Assist with HVAC installations and change-outs when needed
• Ensure all work meets safety, code, and company standards
• Accurately complete service documentation and job notes using dispatch software
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, work vehicle, and jobsite
• Follow all Georgia and local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards
• Communicate professionally with business owners and homeowners regarding system operation and basic maintenance
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and other confined areas
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical labor
• Strong attention to detail and safety

Licensing & Certifications (Georgia)
• Candidates without certification are welcome — training will be provided if you have HVAC Technician experience
• EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal preferred)
• Georgia HVAC state license not required for installers working under a licensed Conditioned Air Contractor
• Georgia HVAC state license (Class I or Class II preferred)

Physical Demands
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50–100 pounds
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing
• Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights
• Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, basements, and rooftops
• Manual dexterity to operate hand and power tools
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
