Ampcontrol is hiring a High Voltage Field Service Technician in Mayfield East, NSW. The role involves HV statutory testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical installations. You will play a pivotal role in HV statutory testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical installations as part of a professional and positive team. Your natural ability to perform work to a high standard, and willingness to work closely with your team will be complemented by the following: A committed attitude to safety; safety is at the heart of our business and an essential core value Experience with HV & LV electrical switchgear and systems Exposure to HV electrical equipment and systems for mining and utilities Experience with High Voltage switchyard and substation maintenance, minor works & upgrades Experience with High Voltage cable terminating, jointing, repairs & testing Experience with protection equipment associated with HV systems (desirable) Service experience in the electrical trades/technical roles A commitment to providing exceptional client and customer service Team orientated person Ability to adapt to fast changing environments and situations Ability to learn quickly and deliver to set timeframes Prepared to travel regularly EDUCATION Electrical trade qualifications HV Switching certificate - desirable, but not essential Think you know Ampcontrol?
