HSSE Supervisor (Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental)

Perfect Placement is hiring a full-time HSSE Supervisor in the Netherlands, specializing in health, safety, security, and environmental management for the (petro)chemical and maritime sectors. The role requires certification in Occupational Health and Safety or Environmental Science, at least 3 years of HSSE supervision experience, and fluency in Afrikaans. Candidates must be South African residents in the Netherlands or willing to relocate.
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro)chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a HSSE Supervisor to join their team in the Netherlands.

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety or Environmental Science.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HSSE supervision.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and risk management.
• Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
• Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

Beneficial requirements:
• Excellent communication and incident investigation skills.
• Proficiency in HSSE reporting and auditing tools.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Develop and enforce HSSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Train employees on safety and emergency protocols.
• Ensure compliance with local and international HSSE regulations.
