Job Description

SMA Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an HR & Talent Acquisition Business Partner in North Sydney, NSW. The role involves partnering with hiring managers to fulfill recruitment needs, advising on talent strategies, and managing the recruitment process. Candidates should have at least 4 years of recruitment experience in Australia and a Master's degree in human resource management. This is a full-time position and not remote.
SMA is manufacturer of market leading premium solar and battery inverter solutions for residential, commercial, and utility scale segments, for both on and off-grid systems. SMA was established in Germany in 1981, and with a global footprint of 18 countries across 4 continents, has led the industry since. We began operations in Australia in 2007 and with over half a million products already installed across Australia, have more products installed and more experience than any competitor.

SMA Australia Pty Ltd is looking for an HR & Talent Acquisition Business Partner who will be partnering with hiring managers to deliver solutions in line with business and organisational strategy to source and fill open positions. The position is based in North Sydney.

The tasks of this role include the following:
• Partnering with business leaders on their recruitment needs and provide solutions to identify high quality talent
• Providing advice to hiring managers and HR to understand current and future talent needs, policies and procedures, and develop sourcing strategies.
• Strategic sourcing, talent pool building on various channels including LinkedIn, Seek, job boards and social media to deliver the best recruitment outcomes.
• Arranging for advertising of job vacancies, interviewing and testing of applicants, and selection of staff
• Assisting with negotiations on terms and conditions of employment
• Managing the Applicant Tracking System in HR Information System
• Working with HR systems, both Employment Hero and Success Factors
• Working in conjunction with the HR & Talent Acquisition Manager to meet deadlines and targets

Skills and experience required for the position:
• At least 4 years of experience in recruitment, including in Australia
• Masters degree in human resource management or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience across talent attraction/engagement space preferably within fast paced environments
• Experience in the use of Employment Hero and Successfactors
