HGV Driver

Wilson James is seeking a full-time HGV Driver for their Green Lane, PA location. Responsibilities include safely delivering construction and retail materials to various sites, ensuring compliance with driving regulations, and maintaining vehicle inspections. We are looking for a HGV Driver to join us here at Wilson James at one of our sites. You will be responsible for delivery of construction and retail fit-out material to various site locations around the airport in a safe and timely manner. Ensure safe vehicle loading and unloading operations and adhere site and operation relevant risk Assessments and method statements.

A typical day in the life as a HGV Driver
• Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules whilst ensuring Fulcrum waypoint entries are accurately completed.
• Actively report changes to delivery routes to include redirections and make the management team aware of all variations.
• Comply with HGV driving rules and regulations (size, weight, load safety, parking and break periods) as well as with company driving related policies and procedures.

What are we looking for?
• HGV Driver qualification (cat. C)
• CSCS Card
• Airside Pass and Airside Driving Permit (can apply for)
• CPC qualified and tacho card
• CPCS Counter Balance A16 qualification
• FORS compliant
• GSO Level 1, NXCT (or willing to train and pass exams to this level)
