Grower Success Support Technician

Arable is hiring a Grower Success Support Technician in North Platte, NE, to assist growers in adopting agtech solutions. Your Role:

Arable is seeking a motivated and hands-on Grower Success Support Technician to support our customers in the adoption and use of our innovative agtech solutions. In this role, you’ll work directly with growers in the field to install and maintain Arable’s devices, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure successful use of our tools throughout the season.

This role is ideal for someone early in their agricultural or technology career who is eager to make an impact at the intersection of precision agriculture, sustainability, and customer success. It’s also a great fit for an experienced ag professional—such as a crop consultant, irrigation technician, or grower—looking to complement their current work with a flexible, part-time or seasonal role supporting agtech in the field.

We welcome applicants pursuing or holding a degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Agribusiness, or a related field. Internship opportunities are also available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:
• Perform field service work including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Arable devices and soil moisture probes
• Provide front-line support to growers, helping them understand and maximize the value of Arable’s solutions throughout the season
• Build strong relationships with growers and local stakeholders, becoming a trusted and knowledgeable resource
• Advocate for customer needs internally by sharing field insights and feedback with Customer Success and Product teams
• Support customer onboarding and training through on-site and virtual sessions
• Stay informed on regional agricultural trends, especially related to pivot irrigation and corn production, to provide relevant guidance
• Assist with seasonal planning and post-season reviews to help growers optimize their use of Arable products
• Identify opportunities for growers to expand their use of Arable tools and services, supporting long-term retention and satisfaction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth device deployments, data flow, and issue resolution

Qualifications:
• Familiarity with pivot irrigation systems, corn production, or similar agricultural systems
• Comfortable working outdoors in field conditions and operating independently in rural settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with growers and field teams
• Demonstrated adaptability, curiosity, and a problem-solving mindset
• Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Agribusiness, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Management, or a related field
• Located in or willing to relocate to West Central Nebraska
• A valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed
• Bonus: Prior experience in an internship or job related to agriculture, irrigation, or technical field support
