About the Position

Solvenow Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Solar Interconnection Specialist to join our team. This role will play a critical part in managing the interconnection and grid integration process for our solar projects in various target markets within the United States.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in transmission planning, grid operation, and generator interconnection topics. They will be responsible for managing the interconnection process, monitoring key milestones, and providing technical insight to reduce interconnection costs and remove obstacles to project development.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the interconnection process and monitor key milestones throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Perform and evaluate interconnection studies, identifying schedule and risks in support of project development and due diligence evaluation.
• Engage and manage consultants as necessary to support the interconnection process.
• Forecast and communicate required deposit and payment amounts for interconnection queue positions and related studies.
Requirements
• Experience in transmission planning, grid operation, and generator interconnection topics.
• Familiarity with power system modeling and transmission planning/generator interconnection studies.
• Proficient in public speaking, presentation skills, and writing of technical reports.
