Greenhouse Technician

Andy Mast Greenhouses, Inc. is hiring a Greenhouse Technician in Holland, MI. Candidates should have at least 1 year of greenhouse experience, preferably bilingual in Spanish and English, and possess computer skills. Job Summary

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL

1. 1 year of Greenhouse work experience.

2. Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

3. Computer skills including Microsoft Office.

4. Basic organizational and math skills.

5. Some weekends required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Daily assistance in the monitoring of crops to determine irrigation needs.

2. Weekly EC and pH measurements of soil to help determine crop fertility.

3. Pesticide applications.

4. Weekly insect scouting.

5. Graphical Tracking.

6. Assist with plant maintenance (production) tasks.

7. Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.15 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week
