Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise team members, providing guidance and support to ensure effective operation of grounds equipment and maintenance activities.
• Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies relevant to green space management.
Requirements and Qualifications
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in grounds and landscape maintenance, with a focus on green space management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing teams and projects, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license from Maryland, Virginia, or the District of Columbia, with experience operating grounds equipment and heavy machinery.
• Demonstrated knowledge of plants, their growth habits, and maintenance requirements, as well as familiarity with local climate and soil conditions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
