Karbone is hiring a Green Energy Trading Expert in New York, NY, to join their expanding Commodities business. The role involves originating and executing deals for Energy Transition commodities, building client relationships, and staying informed on market trends. About Our Opportunity:

We are seeking experienced Renewable Energy Sales Traders to join our Commodity desks due to growth-driven expansion of our Commodities business. Main Job Description:
• Originate, structure and execute bilateral deals/contracts for various classes of Energy Transition commodities in North America; your coverage may include Power, Capacity, Renewable Energy Credits (RECs), or Renewable Fuels (LCFS, RINs, feedstocks, RNG).
• Cultivate and expand a robust network of clients and counterparties, identifying and capturing new revenue streams.
• Conduct client meetings and roadshows, participate in industry networking events, with the goal of building a book of business and growing company exposure.
• Stay ahead of market trends and regulatory landscapes to offer clients proactive insights and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements and Qualifications:
• 1-4+ years of experience in a trading, midmarketing, or brokerage role
• Proven track record of transacting in energy product markets or adjacent, e.g. RECs, renewable fuels, RINs, capacity, power, etc.
• Bachelor's degree with a focus on Economics, Finance, Sustainability, Energy Markets, Environmental Science/Markets, etc.
• Polished business acumen with outstanding interpersonal skills and teamwork
• Track record of establishing new business relationships via cold outreach is highly desirable
