Kinder Morgan is hiring a Green Energy Investments Specialist in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves identifying and developing sources of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), building partnerships with stakeholders, and managing project origination. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, over five years of relevant experience, and strong analytical and communication skills. This is a full-time position focused on expanding the company's RNG business.
About the Opportunity:
Kinder Morgan is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Green Energy Investments Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving the growth and expansion of our Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) business.

About the Position:
This position will be responsible for identifying new and existing sources of RNG, building partnering relationships with landfills, wastewater treatment plants, and other owners/sources of biomethane generation. Additionally, the successful candidate will manage RNG project origination via various entry paths, including organic development, acquisitions, and alliances.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the RNG sector
• Build relationships with key stakeholders, including landfills, wastewater treatment plants, and other RNG suppliers
• Conduct thorough due diligence and provide recommendations on M&A strategy and expansion
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate new RNG projects into our business operations
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of revenue opportunities for business growth
• Provide expert advice to commercial customers on our offered products and services

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree(required), studies in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, or Finance
• Master's Degree (preferred)
• Five (5) + years of experience with specific experience in analyzing and developing new business investment opportunities with customers
• Experience in generating new B2B partnerships
• Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated leadership and presentation skills
• Perform market and competitor analysis
• Ultimate job level will be determined based on the successful candidates' skills, qualifications, and experience
