Job Description

The Green Cities Coordinator at King Conservation District is a two-year, grant-funded role focused on natural resource management. Responsibilities include recruiting park stewards, leading restoration events in SeaTac and Burien, and developing after-school programs for the Highline School District. The position requires collaboration, problem-solving, strong communication skills, and a commitment to diversity and community engagement, with both office and field work involved.
This two-year grant-funded position will be part of a team of conservation professionals in a growing, county-wide, natural resource management special purpose district. The individual holding this position recruits and trains park stewards and leads natural restoration events in the cities of SeaTac and Burien and develops curriculum for and leads after school programming for students in the Highline School District. With work in the office and the field, this position involves multi-faceted duties that require collaboration and problem-solving and an elevated level of motivation, versatility, and independence.
