beBee Careers is seeking a Sustainability Manager in Portland, OR, responsible for implementing a corporate sustainability reporting framework, developing training programs, engaging stakeholders, and managing sustainability risks for regional expansion. Candidates should have 4-6 years of experience in sustainability, knowledge of green building standards, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively on construction sites. A valid driver's license is required.
Key Objectives:

The Sustainability Manager will be responsible for achieving the following key objectives:
• Implement and maintain a comprehensive corporate sustainability reporting framework.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills in sustainability.
• Conduct regular stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment with our sustainability strategy.
• Identify and mitigate sustainability risks associated with new regional expansion.

Requirements:
• 4-6 years of experience in a sustainability role.
• Deep knowledge of green building and/or ESG standards (LEED, Living Building Challenge, CDP Reporting, EcoVadis, SBTI, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and operate as a peer leader in a team environment.
• Ability to work successfully on a construction jobsite with site teams and subcontractors.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
