Graduate Internship Programme

The Tony Blair Institute for Global Change is offering a 6-month graduate internship in Nairobi, Kenya, starting March 2025. This role is designed for candidates passionate about politics and creating change in government. Interns will support strategic leadership projects, gain diverse experience, and receive mentorship. The program aims to provide a holistic understanding of the Institute's operations while contributing to impactful change across Africa.

Role Summary

We are opening a graduate internship position for 6 months in Nairobi, commencing March 2025 for an exceptional candidate who is passionate about politics and the ability to create change by working in and with governments.

Our Internship Programme will provide you with diverse experience, working with colleagues both in country and across the globe. You will have the benefit of working on an innovative programme within our growing project portfolio and business development activities.

During the Internship Programme, you will support strategic TBI Africa leadership projects, help create impactful change, be mentored by colleagues, and receive a holistic understanding of life at TBI. Whether our colleagues are at TBI for a few years, or a large share of their career as they grow and progress within the Institute, their experience positions them to have a huge global impact.

This specific internship is a unique opportunity to join the Africa MD’s office and gain a strategic view of TBI’s work across the continent.

The compensation for this role is competitive.
