KEO International Consultants is hiring a Graduate Sustainability and Environment role for UAE Nationals in Dubai. The position involves a 1-year rotational program, offering training in sustainability and environmental functions. Responsibilities include waste management, solid waste strategy development, compliance with legislation, and energy efficiency analysis. Candidates with up to 2 years of experience in environmental or sustainability backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Site work may be required.

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Graduate Sustainability and Environment - UAE Nationals to join our award-winning team based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
• Responsibilities*:
KEO are looking to recruit talented Emirati interested in the Sustainability and Environmental field, from graduate level to 1 - 2 years’ experience to support KEO divisions throughout a 1-year rotational program within our Sustainability and Environmental functions. Depending on where the role is assigned, responsibilities may vary day to day. Working under direct supervision of experienced managers and professionals, completes a variety of assignments designed to provide exposure to and training in chosen field of expertise. May broaden operational knowledge through rotational assignments across multiple teams.
We are open to candiadtes coming from both environmental and waste management background or from a sustainability background.
For those coming from an environmental and waste management background, we envisage success in this role to include:
- Planning, organising and managing the successful completion of the waste responsibilities as required by the project scope of services, under the guidance of the supervisor.
- Providing input to and/or develop solid waste management strategies, designs for solid waste infrastructure, research input for feasibility studies related to waste management, etc.
- Ensuring that the waste/environmental related requirements of local legislation and international best practice standards are complied with.
- Assisting in generating and following up on business opportunities throughout UAE and in other KEO locations where required by the Supervisor.
- Assisting in the preparation or contribute to solid waste tender proposals for the Waste Department in its own right, and for cross discipline bids managed by Project Managers within other KEO Divisions.
- Assisting in the preparation and arrangement of presentations and meetings with potential and current Clients.
- Site works may be required as part of this position.
For those coming from a sustainability background, we envisage success in this role to include:
- Supporting in conducting full building/project energy efficiency analysis, recommending energy conservation measures, and demonstrating international energy standards compliance using dynamic simulation modeling software.
- Supporting in conducting dynamic simulation models to comply with LEED and Estidama.
- Undertaking thermal and daylighting simulations.
- Preparing sustainability reports on energy, water for Estidama templates, LEED templates, Al Saf'at documentation and any other relevant rating to the KEO Sustainability business.
- Providing support in, and developing 3D dynamic thermal modeling using the latest simulation programs, airflow analysis, systems peak load reduction, solar control, thermal comfort, daylighting and glare analysis.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include experience from graduate level to 1 - 2 years partnered with a Bachelors Degree in an Sustainability and/or Environmental field.
