Job Description
Aurecon is seeking a Graduate Consultant for its Sustainability, Climate Change & Risk Decarbonisation team in Canberra, Australia. This role offers recent graduates the chance to work on impactful projects promoting sustainability and navigating the transition to a low-carbon future. Candidates should have a relevant degree and a passion for engineering and sustainability. The two-year program includes team rotations, mentorship, and a focus on professional development within a diverse and inclusive culture.

As one of our Sustainability, Climate Change & Risk Graduates in our Decarbonisation team, you’ll feel deeply passionate about co-creating solutions for a sustainable and liveable future. Our Decarbonisation team is responsible for addressing the risks and opportunities associated with sustainability and climate change. You will work with our clients to help them navigate the transition to a low-carbon future and achieve their decarbonisation goals. The team offers expertise in various areas, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, carbon reduction strategies, and sustainable practices.

What are we looking for from you?
First and foremost, you will be ready to make an impact. You’ll have, or will be graduating soon with a formal qualification in:
• Economics, Business, Finance, Law, Engineering, Sustainability, Science or related double degree.
• Will have completed all studies and have the ability to work full time from February 2025.
• Passion for re-imagining engineering; changing the way we deliver carbon neutrality and championing sustainability.
• Ability to cultivate relationships with peers and clients to push forward the boundaries of what is possible.
• Enthusiasm and a thirst for continuous learning to help shape the future.
