Merit Medical Systems Inc is seeking a Global Sustainability Manager in South Jordan, UT. This role focuses on advancing sustainable purchasing practices and implementing the Supplier Sustainability Program. Job Summary

This position will partner with procurement professionals to advance socially and environmentally responsible purchasing while meeting the company's price, performance, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities
• Assist in designing the Supplier Sustainability Program and coordinate its effective implementation throughout Merit's global network.
• Build strong engagement and alignment with key senior business leaders across Procurement, Operations, EHS&S, Supply Chain, Compliance & Risk, Audit, Legal, Government Affairs, HR, and Finance departments.
• Assist in selecting, approving, and evaluating suppliers based on their sustainability performance.
• Conduct on-site supplier audits and evaluate supplier performance in accordance with the supplier code of conduct, human rights, and labor standards policy.
• Present supplier performance metrics and risk updates to management as required.
Key Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field and two years of work-related experience.
• Proven track record in Supplier Sustainability Programs, preferably across multiple organizations.
• Working knowledge of ISO regulations and requirements.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills at all levels within the organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
