We are partnering with a leading global investment bank to expand its Natural Resources & Critical Minerals M&A Advisory team in Sydney. The firm is looking to hire both an Analyst and an Associate to support its growing deal pipeline.
• M&A – Natural Resources & Critical Minerals

This global investment bank has built a market-leading reputation in the natural resources sector, providing advisory, financing, and strategic solutions across both developed and emerging markets. The firm’s deep sector expertise and ability to execute complex transactions in challenging environments set it apart from competitors.
As part of the Sydney-based coverage team, you will work closely with clients across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, developing long-term relationships and identifying strategic opportunities. The role involves a mix of client coverage and execution, collaborating with M&A and project finance teams to deliver high-impact transactions. The team is well-regarded for its strong culture, collaborative environment, and commitment to long-term career development.
Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking candidates with M&A investment banking experience, either at:
• A global investment bank or leading boutique advisory firm
• An M&A team at a Big 4 accounting firm
• A corporate M&A team within a mining/resources company
Strong financial modelling, transaction execution, and client management skills are essential, along with a genuine passion for the natural resources sector. While prior sector experience is valued, candidates from other industries who have a strong interest in the space are also encouraged to apply.
