Job Description

We are looking for a talented Global Health, Safety and Environment Project Manager to join our team specializing in Health & Safety for our corporate office in Fridley, MN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Driving Project Success: By leading multiple projects from start to finish, you'll ensure each project meets its objectives and delivers value to stakeholders.

Strategic Planning: Facilitating project planning sessions will help define clear scopes and objectives, aligning projects with business goals.

Performance Management: Establishing and tracking performance goals will keep projects on track and ensure they meet or exceed expectations.

Issue Resolution: Identifying and resolving project issues promptly will minimize disruptions and keep projects moving forward smoothly.

Effective Communication: Regularly updating the project team and stakeholders on status will ensure everyone is informed and aligned.

Risk Management: Using quality tools to identify and mitigate risks will protect projects from potential setbacks and enhance their success.

Knowledge Sharing: Documenting and sharing learnings will foster a culture of continuous improvement and benefit future projects.

Team Development: Guiding and coaching team members will enhance their skills and contribute to a more capable and cohesive project team.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Balancing Stakeholders: Anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders to ensure all voices are heard and considered in decision-making processes.

Building Effective Teams: Foster strong-identity teams by leveraging diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals, enhancing team cohesion and performance.

Cultivating Innovation: Encourage and implement new and better ways for the organization to succeed, driving continuous improvement and staying ahead of industry trends.

Driving Results: Maintain a consistent track record of achieving results, even under challenging circumstances, demonstrating resilience and determination.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

College, university, or equivalent degree preferred. Professional certification in HSE-related field preferred.

Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including project management required.

Experience working within health, safety and environment preferred.

Additional Details:

Plans and monitors project budget, conducts research and analysis; provides input into the design and development of project plans and timelines

Manages commissioning & project risk at the customer site and works with others on the team and outside the team to identify alternatives or solutions with RAGAGEP (registered & good engineering practices) or with the use of standards and codes

Applies Process Safety principles to control industry-specific hazards prior to and during projects

College, university, or equivalent degree preferred in Engineering;

Strong knowledge of safety regulations -OHSA, CSA, TSSA, TSBC, codes - NFPA, BNQ, ANSI, ASME and standards applicable to electrolysis systems preferred - ISO, CGA, API, EIGA, AIGA.
