We are looking for someone with strong organisational skills, a strong background in

Sustainability in the AEC context of the built-environment sector, analytical skills and the

ability to write compelling content for proposals and sales material. You will play a key

role in helping us deliver sustainability excellence across bids, capability materials and

core global programmes. You will be part of our Global Buildings Central Enablement

Support Team in Mumbai, India. This role operates as a virtual part of the Global Buildings

Sustainability team, working closely with colleagues across all geographies and

spearheads.

You will take ownership of the sustainability components of the Tender Excellence Hub,

coordinate our Sustainability Fit Assessment (SFA) programme, maintain the Buildings

Sustainability SharePoint site, and support the development of sustainability-integrated

capability statements. You will also carry out targeted sector research to support strategy,

bids and client engagement.

Job Description

Main Role Responsibilities

Tender Excellence Hub

You will support the Global Commercial Team Head of Sustainability to manage the

sustainability related content of the Tender Excellence Hub site, working closely with the

TEx Hub Administrator. This will include:

 Maintain and enhance all sustainability-related content within the Tender Excellence

Hub.

 Source, upload and keep sustainability case studies and project examples

up-to-date. Make sure sustainability messaging reflects current client value drivers

and our Sustainability Focus Areas.

 Provide sustainability inputs, references and examples for bids when required.

 Work closely with the Tender Excellence Hub Administrator and Global Commercial

Team to keep the platform coherent and easy to use.

Sustainability Fit Assessment (SFA) Programme

The SFA is Ramboll’s early-stage approach for positioning sustainability as part of

winning strategies on major bids.

You will:

 Coordinate the global SFA programme and support consistent use of the process

across geographies and spearheads.

 Track the SFA pipeline, monitor progress and maintain oversight of quality.

 Work with the Global S&CR team to evolve SFA processes, criteria and guidance.

 Support geography and spearhead sustainability leads with process questions and

quality reviews.

 Deliver SFAs for teams with limited capacity, partnering with someone locally who

knows the client

 Turning SFA insights into bid strategy and materials, working directly on bids as

part of tender teams

 Lead lessons-learned activities and embed improvements into the programme.

 Onboard new sustainability leads into SFA processes, templates and tools.

 Gather best practice and insights from bids and share them across the network.

 Work with service line leaders to help apply SFA findings to sector strategies.

Building Sustainability SharePoint Site

You will:

 Maintain and regularly refresh content on the Buildings Sustainability SharePoint

site, ensuring all resources, tools, references and guidance are up-to-date and

aligned with our Sustainability Focus Areas (Cut Carbon, Build Resilience and

Reimagine Resources).

 Improve structure and navigation so colleagues can quickly find what they need.

Sustainability-Integrated Capability Statement Development

You will:

 Work with Produce concise capability statements that integrate sustainability for

priority sectors and services.

 Consolidate inputs from technical teams into clear, consistent and client-ready

materials.

Targeted Sector-Level Research

You will:

 Carry out focused research into policy trends, sector value drivers and competitor

positioning.

 Produce short summaries that support strategy, capability materials and bid

decisions.

Qualifications


Target years of experience: 8-10 yearsExperience in working in a similar environment/similar sustainability role within theAEC or built-environment sector.Strong communication skills and confidence working independently in a virtualteam environment across regionsStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workflows,collaborating with multiple stakeholders.Ability to turn inputs into clear, structured content that is visually impactful.Some client exposure and understanding to support the integration of sustainabilitythemes into case studies, bids, client presentations and capability statements in aclear, client-focused way.Sufficient sustainability technical knowledge (i.e., sustainability policy landscape,sector trends, and competitor activity) to complete Sustainability Fit Assessments,support bids, and identify gaps and opportunities in messaging. Particularly inrelation to our Sustainability Focus Areas of Cut Carbon, Build Resilience andReimagine ResourcesExcellent understanding and experience of SharePoint and other complementarysystems/software such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, PowerBI, CoPilot/other AIConfidentialtools, all Microsoft Office Software (i.e, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Adobe Suite(preferred but not essential).PreferredUnderstanding of the Ramboll business.Experience researching policy, sector trends and competitor activity.Fluent English as a minimum
