Job Description

Goldman Sachs is hiring an Analyst for their Global Banking & Markets Agency Lending Trading Team in Boston. The role involves minimizing operational risk, analyzing client inventory, and managing trading relationships. Candidates should excel in time management, communication, and possess strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Bloomberg are advantageous. The position is full-time and does not require a specific degree.
Who we are:

Goldman Sachs Agency Lending (GSAL) offers a variety of securities lending services including: Agency Lending, Auction and Administrative Services. We are responsible for negotiating and administering loans of securities (both equity and fixed income) across 35 markets (Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific). Our client base covers a diverse range of institutions, e.g., investment managers, insurance companies and pension plans.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Minimize operational risk by working with relevant internal and external contacts
• Analyze client inventory and related demand to negotiate new loans and manage existing loans
• Develop and manage day-to-day trading relationship(s) with counterparts and clients

Skills and experiences we are looking for:
• Time management and the ability to balance multiple tasks is the biggest challenge for potential candidates. The fast-paced nature of our business lends itself well to individuals that (i) display a strong sense of ownership, (ii) multi-task, (iii) communicate effectively and (iv) exhibit attention to detail
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure
• Track record of team-oriented success
• Proficiency with Excel, and familiarity with Bloomberg, is a plus
• SIE/S7/S63 registration(s) is a plus
