Job Description

Rockford Public Schools is hiring a General Science/Environmental Science Teacher for grades 6-8 for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves creating meaningful learning experiences, participating in professional development, and planning instructional activities. Regular attendance is essential, and the position does not include supervisory responsibilities. The job is full-time and located in Rockford, IL.
The Teacher understands the central concepts, methods of inquiry, and structures of disciplines and creates learning experiences that make the content meaningful to all students.
