Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 3 - Environmental Services / Custodial to lead our Environmental Service team at West Chester Hospital located in West Chester, Ohio. West Chester Hospital is part of the UC Health system. It is a Level III Trauma Center, a certified Primary Stroke Center and is designated as a Magnet hospital for excellence in nursing care. As the General Manager of Environmental Service you will report to the District Manager and lead a team of 3 managers and approximately 50 hourly associates.
What You'll Do
• Have exceptional client service mentality and executive presence
• Be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores
• Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and work closely with the Infectious Control department
• Partner with the Environment of Care Committee, Infection Prevention Director and other key members of hospital leadership
• Effectively manage the Unit Operating System
• Support a diverse and inclusive workforce

What You Bring
• 5 or more years of custodial or housekeeping management experience with 3 or more years director-level experience, preferably in a hospital environment
• A leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service and the technical execution of a housekeeping system
• An expert in building and maintaining strong customer/client relationships
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion
• Ability to analyze data, present, and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization related to training, leading committees, and change management
• Experience effectively managing projects within agreed-upon timelines
• Proficient with computers and other technology
• Experience with vendor and contract management, as well as union and contract negotiations
• Strong financial acumen and budget management experience

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum Management Experience – 5 years. Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years.
