Job Description
GPT Renewables is seeking General Laborers for utility-scale solar projects in Toledo, OH. This entry-level position requires Ohio residency and offers training in solar installation and maintenance. Responsibilities include assisting in installations, learning quality assurance practices, maintaining documentation, and adhering to safety protocols. No prior experience is necessary. Candidates should be physically fit, eager to learn, and possess good teamwork skills. The position is full-time with a pay of $29 per hour.

Position Overview:
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as General Laborers, with no prior experience required, must have ohio residency to meet domicile requirements. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to kickstart your career in the renewable energy solar sector. As a General Labor, you will assist in the installation and maintenance of solar components for our utility-scale projects.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in Racking or Module Installation: Help in the installation and setup of racking system ot solar modules under the guidance of experienced technicians, following strict safety and quality standards.
• Learn and Apply Quality Assurance Practices: Assist in inspections and learn to identify any issues with the installation, under the mentorship of senior staff.
• Documentation Assistance: Help maintain records of installation activities, including the usage of equipment and detailed notes on the procedures followed.
• Team Collaboration: Support project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure projects are executed smoothly and efficiently.
• Safety Protocol Adherence: Learn and follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
• Ohio Residency required to meet domicile requirements
• Experience: No previous experience in solar installation required. Training will be provided.
• Willingness to Learn: Eager to learn new skills and apply them on the job.
• Physical Fitness: Capable of working outdoors in various conditions and lifting heavy objects as needed.
• Problem-Solving: Willingness to learn problem-solving skills and efficiently address issues with guidance.
• Team Collaboration: Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass drug test and background check.
