Agricultural Recruitment Specialists Ltd is seeking a General Farm Worker for a live-out position in Hampshire. The role involves supporting daily farm operations, caring for livestock, maintaining farm infrastructure, and implementing sustainable farming practices. Ideal candidates should have experience in mixed livestock farming, a passion for ethical agriculture, and be physically fit. This is not a remote job, as it requires commuting to the farm.

The Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a General Farm Worker to join a respected and forward-thinking agricultural team based on a certified organic, mixed-use estate in Hampshire. This live-out position is ideal for someone with a genuine passion for animals, the land, and sustainable farming methods.
The Company:
Our client operates a 340-acre mixed arable and livestock farm, managed under organic and biodynamic principles. The farm supports a high-end hospitality business and provides a wide range of fresh, seasonal produce including dairy, meat, eggs and vegetables. Livestock includes cows, sheep, pigs and poultry, all cared for to the highest welfare standards.
The estate combines traditional farming techniques with modern sustainability and is committed to producing exceptional quality ingredients from field to fork.
The Role:
Support daily farm operations across livestock care, maintenance, and land management
Work alongside experienced farmers and specialists in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Care for livestock, including sheep, pigs, cows, and poultry
Maintain farm buildings, machinery, and infrastructure
Clean animal areas and equipment to uphold hygiene and biosecurity standards
Operate tractors and forklifts as needed (training provided if required)
Assist in implementing organic and biodynamic farming practices
The Candidate:
Previous experience working on a mixed livestock farm (preferred)
Basic mechanical understanding and relevant driving or machinery tickets (an advantage)
A passion for sustainable, ethical agriculture
Strong attention to detail and commitment to animal welfare
The ability to work outdoors in all weather and be physically fit
Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
The Right to Work in the UK
This is a live-out role, so candidates must be within a commutable distance of the estate
