GHG Standards Manager

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is hiring a GHG Standards & Verification Manager to develop carbon offset projects and ensure compliance with agricultural standards. Responsibilities include leading verification projects, interfacing with stakeholders, and managing relationships with consultants. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in greenhouse gas or sustainability programs, knowledge of climate standards, and familiarity with carbon markets.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of verification projects for livestock, dairy, and row crop agriculture
• Act as a technical expert and interface with various project stakeholders to ensure compliance with standards
• Monitor external carbon and climate standards and manage relationships with third-party consultants and verifiers

Required Qualifications:
• High school degree or higher
• 5 or more years of experience in corporate greenhouse gas/sustainability programs, preferably in agriculture
• Proven knowledge of leading climate standards and best practices
• Experience with validation and verification processes, including Intervention Design Documents
• Familiarity with nature-based solutions, carbon markets, and climate policy
