A Forestry Worker position is available for a casual role, requiring 38+ hours of work per week. The position is based in Maryborough and involves working throughout the Fraser Coast area, with occasional travel to perform various silviculture services such as weed control, planting, and fire protection.

Seasonal work options may also be available, including tree planting and firefighting.
The Duties:
• Weed spraying
• Brushcutting
• Tree planting
• General plantation maintenance
• Equipment maintenance
• Hazard reduction burning, wildfire response, and surveillance
The Requirements:
• Experience in forestry, manual rural work, or vegetation management
• High physical fitness with ability to work outdoors in demanding conditions
• Availability for away work as required
• Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing random drug and alcohol testing
• Strong commitment to team performance and communication
• High level of self-motivation with excellent work ethic
• C class driver's license

Job types: Casual, Seasonal

Schedule: 8 hour shift

Supplementary pay: Overtime pay, Penalty rates

Work authorisation: Australia (Preferred)
