The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineering Discipline Lead to join our Central Civil Works Department in the Great Lakes and Mid-West area.

This position will involve leading a team of structural engineers and designing flood risk management systems, locks and dams, floodwalls, navigation floodgates, stormwater pumping stations, outfalls, spillways, and ecosystem restoration.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary project teams to ensure integrated, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement effective strategies to drive business growth and expand our service offerings.
• Leverage your expertise to provide high-quality designs and technical guidance to clients.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Manage and mentor a team of structural engineers to achieve exceptional results.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve our services.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related engineering field + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Professional Engineer license in one state in the US and able to easily obtain licenses in other states via reciprocity. NCEES profile is a plus.
• Experience working on federal projects for agencies like USACE, USIBWC, FEMA, NRCS, etc.
• Valid Drivers License required.
• US Citizen or permanent resident.
