Financial Planning & Analysis Internship

Nautilus Solar Energy, LLC is offering a remote Financial Planning & Analysis Internship in Kansas City, MO. The intern will analyze financial data, prepare reports, ensure GAAP compliance, and support special projects. Candidates should be pursuing a college degree or have relevant experience, possess strong communication and analytical skills, and have a keen interest in renewable energy. The position is full-time with minimal travel requirements.
Position Summary

Nautilus Solar Energy's (“NSE”) FP&A Intern will be responsible for analyzing financial data and reports for Nautilus. This remote full-time position reports to the FP&A Associate and will travel less than 5% of the time for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with data pulls and summaries; run monthly variance analyses.
• Prepare various standardized and ad-hoc reports for FP&A and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance with internal policies.
• Contribute to the Company's special projects as assigned.
• Creating and maintaining data repository for construction projects on an ongoing basis
• Other duties as assigned to support the FP&A department

Requirements
• In progress college degree or relevant experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Awareness of and interest in renewable energy preferred
• Ability to work independently in a team-oriented and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
• Working knowledge of Excel, word, power point
• Possess analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Ability to work effectively with various levels and functions of the organization as well as with external parties such as customers
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S
