This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing company with a mission to transform the U.S. electricity market by switching homes and businesses to 100% clean, pollution-free energy. Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Vice President of Project Finance to support tax equity and debt transactions, manage relationships with stakeholders, perform financial modeling, prepare term sheets, and contribute to various internal workstreams. This includes facilitating project handoffs to asset management, supporting project financing funding requests, conducting financial planning and analysis, managing investor relations, and assisting with corporate reporting. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Vice President of Project Finance to support tax equity and debt transactions for renewable energy projects. Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate the financial feasibility and profitability of project finance opportunities. Prepare detailed financial models, cash flow projections, and sensitivity analyses to assess investment returns and risk factors. Assist in the preparation of term sheets, investment memos, and other relevant documents for tax equity and debt transactions. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including tax equity investors, lenders, and financial institutions, to facilitate successful project financings. Coordinate project handoffs to the asset management team, ensuring a smooth transition from project development to operations. Support project financing funding requests by preparing financial analyses, investment summaries, and supporting documentation. Contribute to financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Assist in investor relations activities, such as preparing investor presentations, conducting financial due diligence, and responding to investor inquiries. Contribute to corporate reporting requirements, including financial statements, regulatory filings, and internal reporting packages. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact project finance activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, accounting, and project development, to ensure alignment and compliance with project finance requirements. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus. 2 years of experience in financial analysis, project finance, investment banking, or a similar role within the renewable energy industry. Strong knowledge of financial modeling techniques, valuation methods, and investment analysis. Solid understanding of tax equity and debt financing structures, project finance principles, and renewable energy policies. Proficiency in financial analysis software, such as Excel, Bloomberg, and other relevant tools. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify key insights. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and present findings to internal and external audiences. Experience in financial planning and analysis, investor relations, and corporate reporting is desirable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Travel and Work Environment 100% remote position with the need to come to Washington DC HQ from time to time for business needs.
