About Our Client

We are currently partnered up with a small but growing Manufacturing company (PE Owned) in their search to add a Financial Analyst to the team due to growth through acquisitions. This Financial Analyst - Manufacturing will report into the CFO and will be on a team of 3 Accounting & Finance Professionals. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience within a Manufacturing setting and can operate both independently and autonomously. Job Description

The Financial Analyst - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:
• Financial Planning & Forecasting:
• Produce and circulate KPI and financial data weekly, comparing it to forecasts, historical trends, and targets.
• Develop consistent KPIs to support decision-making across all company locations.
• Assist in preparing financial models for the annual budgeting process.
• Maintain financial models to forecast key metrics such as revenue, expenses, capital expenditures, and other business KPIs.
• Provide support to monthly and year end internal financial reporting as required
• Provide support in preparation of quarterly board meetings to help ensure consistent and accurate information is provided for all locations.
• Financial Analysis:
• Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Regular review and analysis of product margins and overhead rates
• Analyze sales trends by customer and part number to identify changes in customer buying patterns and pricing opportunities.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support business needs and decision-making as required.
• Reporting & Communication:
• Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and provide meaningful insights.
• Support long-term business planning and financial modeling initiatives.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, tools, and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide input into initiatives to streamline reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Compliance and Governance:
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Financial Analyst - Manufacturing will have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• MBA preferred but not required
• 2+ years of experience in financial planning, corporate finance, or a similar role.
• Manufacturing industry or a related industry experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excel and Modelling super user.
• High levels of proficiency in other financial software (Excel, Hyperion, Power BI, etc.) and exposure to ERP systems.
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Base Salary of $75,000-$105,000 depending on experience
