Client Overview

Our client is an international cosmetics business looking to add a Financial Analyst. This company is looking for an experienced professional who can grow within the organization and become a key member of the team.

Salary/Hourly Rate

$38/hr - $40/hr

Position Overview

The Financial Analyst will be a part of the Finance team. They will be responsible for interpreting and analyzing data to create accurate reports and analyses. A strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel use is required. This Financial Analyst role will be in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on an analytical skill set.

Responsibilities Of The Financial Analyst
• Assist with analyzing financial data and preparing reports and projections based on this analysis.
• Coordinate with other members of the Finance team to review financial information and forecasts.
• Retrieve comprehensive financial information and convert it into a pivot table format.
• Monthly closing of the COMPASS Cost Module and Monthly COMPASS Officializations.
• Responsibility for A&P & SG&A budget and trend creation and maintenance in Compass.
• Inform the Financial Controller of risks & opportunities identified through budget management and ongoing meetings with business partners.
• Ad hoc analysis to evaluate spend and enable management to make sound business decisions.
• Ad hoc projects to improve controls/reporting.
• Monthly analysis of worldwide net sales.

Required Experience/Skills for the Financial Analyst:
• Financial Analyst experience.
• Experience with Excel is a must.
• Strong computer skills.
• SAP or TM1/Cognos experience.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Financial Analyst:
• Experience working with senior leadership on ad-hoc financial analysis.
• 2 - 5 years of experience in finance.

Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree and equivalent experience are required.
• MBA/CPA is a plus.
