Position Snapshot

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing accounts payable and receivable functions, along with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with accounting and bookkeeping software is essential, and experience with financial software such as NetSuite or other ERP systems is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform the accounts' payable function, including processing invoices received, ensuring the correct use of purchase orders (POs) and appropriate purchasing controls, and preparing batch payments in the online banking platform.
• Handle the accounts' receivable function, including customer billing and following up on due debtors.
• Reconcile bank accounts and company credit cards.
• Review and assist with staff expense claims.
• Check and update ledger balances in the finance system.
• Assist with data processing and collation of information, such as responding to industry surveys.
• Assist with audits, FBT preparation, and other finance matters.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders via phone calls, face-to-face conversations, Teams messages, and emails. Work closely with the Financial Accountant to prepare payment runs.
• Provide general support and administration within the Finance team.
• Perform other duties as directed from time to time.
