In this role, you will be responsible for testing radon levels within residential and commercial buildings to ensure safe air quality. This role is part of a critical team that tests the indoor air quality of residential and commercial buildings. It is responsible for installing radon testing devices and communicating with facility owners/coordinators to ensure proper installation and successful testing. The role is also responsible for conducting inspections of mitigation systems. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ensuring proper installation of testing devices Mitigation system inspections Travel locally and nationally Proper completion of necessary paperwork Meet project deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction Consistent and constant communication with project team members Onsite decision making to ensure a successful consultation Other duties as assigned REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to work within and meet established deadlines Punctual Highly organized and attention to detail Skilled in use of Microsoft Office Suite Must be familiar with basic shipping standards to mail necessary equipment to remote locations Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving history Must be comfortable working and traveling alone Candidate must possess a valid driver license and clean driving history and be able to pass the company's background screening to be considered for this position PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates primarily in a field environment and routinely requires walking, climbing stairs and lifting equipment. Must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds (sentinel cases) TRAVEL REQUIRED Up to 100% travel M-F, depending on the weekly schedule. Travel can be local or national utilizing rental cars and flying regularly and will vary from week to week depending on client orders. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED required NRPP certification for radon measurement and mitigation, or ability to obtain this certification within established timeline upon hire. Minimum 2 years customer service experience, preferably in a field environment This position offers competitive compensation. Compensation varies based on skill, experience, and location. This position is also eligible for competitive benefits and travel reimbursement. Pay for this position starts at $55,000 annually.
